ELASTIC Project Insights Shared at SNS Call 2 Webinar by Prof. Sotiris Ioannidis from TUC

On March 7th, 2024, Prof. Sotiris Ioannidis, the Project Coordinator for ELASTIC from the Technical University of Crete (TUC), presented an insightful overview of the ELASTIC project during the SNS Call 2 project introduction webinar. This event, organized by the European Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU), was aimed at introducing the various projects participating in the SNS Call 2 cluster and outlining their goals.

The European Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) is a significant Public-Private Partnership focused on advancing industrial leadership in Europe in the areas of 5G and 6G networks and services. By fostering a robust research and innovation (R&I) agenda, SNS JU plays a critical role in involving numerous European stakeholders and enhancing international cooperation on 6G initiatives. The second phase of 6G projects, which commenced in January 2024, marks a crucial step in fortifying Europe’s R&I foundation and shaping the next generation of networks.

During the webinar, Prof. Ioannidis provided a detailed overview of the ELASTIC project, highlighting its objectives and the innovative solutions it aims to bring to the field of smart networks and services. The project is part of the broader effort to create a comprehensive R&I roadmap and deployment agenda for 6G technologies in Europe.

The webinar served as a platform for project partners and stakeholders to share insights and updates, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
