ELASTIC Project at the 35th Annual FIRST Conference 2024
Manos Athanatos, representing the ELASTIC project and TUC, attended the 35th Annual FIRST Conference in Fukuoka, Japan, in June 2024. This prestigious event is one of the leading gatherings for cybersecurity experts and incident response teams globally, organized by FIRST.org, which fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing among professionals working to improve global cybersecurity practices.
As part of the event, Mr. Athanatos took part in the FIRST.org Automation Special Interest Group (SIG), where discussions centered around the latest advancements in cybersecurity automation. The group monitored recent updates to automation standards and explored the development of new frameworks and reports, directly contributing to the future of cybersecurity practices. These discussions are highly relevant to the ELASTIC project’s goals of enhancing security and standardization in communication systems, and the outcomes of this SIG will be closely followed to align with ELASTIC’s ongoing research.
