ELASTIC at EuCNC 2025 – Showcasing Secure and Efficient Edge Computing
The ELASTIC Project will take part in EuCNC 2025, held in Poznan, Poland from June 3–6. You’ll find us at Booth #12, shared with CONFIDENTIAL6G and RIGOUROUS.
About EuCNC
EuCNC & 6G Summit is one of the most established telecom and networking conferences in Europe, supported by the European Commission. It brings together industry, academia, and policymakers to present results from EU-funded research and innovation in areas such as 5G evolution, 6G development, and advanced connectivity solutions. The event provides a platform for showcasing technical demonstrations, engaging with future technologies, and fostering collaboration.
What We’re Presenting
ELASTIC will showcase two demos focused on secure, efficient, and developer-friendly solutions for IoT and edge computing. Visitors are invited to stop by, see the demos in action, and learn more about the project’s technologies and goals.
Demo 1: Ericsson IoT Data Fabric
- Semantic-based data discovery and access, independent of data location
- In-network data pre-processing using WebAssembly runtimes
- Built on IETF technologies (CoAP Pub-Sub and SDF)
- Early concepts of security and observability
Demo 2: IMEC WasmHAL
- Secure, portable hardware access in sandboxed environments
- WASI proposals for I2C, USB, and more
- Live demo: Pac-Man game controlled via a USB driver running in WebAssembly
