ELASTIC at EuCNC 2025: ELASTIC Highlights Research and Innovation at EuCNC 2025

The ELASTIC Project participated in the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025, held in Poznań, Poland from June 3–6. Hosted at Booth #12—shared with CONFIDENTIAL6G and RIGOUROUS—the ELASTIC team spent 3.5 days on-site showcasing our cutting-edge demos, engaging in technical discussions, and connecting with the broader community.

Our booth attracted more than 80 visitors, with many expressing genuine interest in the technologies we presented. One of the most common reactions at our booth? “Now this is something different!” Many attendees remarked that WebAssembly (Wasm)—a central enabler in our showcased technologies—felt like a new and refreshing topic at this year’s conference.

Our two demos captured significant interest:

  • Ericsson IoT Data Fabric demonstrated semantic-based data access, in-network processing using WebAssembly, and early security features built on IETF technologies.
  • IMEC WasmHAL highlighted secure hardware access in sandboxed environments, featuring a live Pac-Man game controlled through a WebAssembly-based USB driver.

The ELASTIC team—comprising representatives from TUC, Ericsson Finland, and IMEC—offered hands-on walkthroughs of the demos and discussed how the project’s technologies support secure, efficient, and developer-friendly solutions for IoT and edge computing.

Beyond showcasing results, EuCNC 2025 provided a valuable opportunity for discussion, networking, and collecting feedback. These interactions will help shape the next steps of the project and inform future engagement activities.

We would like to sincerely thank the organisers of EuCNC 2025 for the excellent organisation and warm hospitality throughout the event.
